A 14 months old baby Ian Kemfon Bassey have become instant millionaire after meeting former super Eagles and ex Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo in Abuja.
Ighalo who is currently plying his trade with Saudi Arabia based club Al Shabab fc is in Nigeria for holidays following the conclusion of the 2020/2021 season.
The 33 years old goal poacher is in the capital city for an event put together by an Abuja based socialite where Davido was also in attendance.
The meeting between the fortunate baby was facilitated by the Aunt who is a close friend to the former Watford striker following persistent calls from the baby’s Mum on her desire and wishes for his son to meet the philanthropist.
Ighalo’s generosity might not come as a suprised to many following his charitable disposition which has seen him set up an orphanage home in Lagos to cater for indigent children.
An elated father to the baby Chris Bassey who incidentally is a sports journalist poured encomium on Ighalo’s act of magnanimity towards his son.
The cash gift was presented to an elated mother of the baby Mrs Rejoice Chris Bassey on behalf of the child.
