Winners have emerged at the ongoing 2024 Club Elan-Sowsco Oil services Table Tennis Tournament in Akure.
In the boys category, Elijah Okoro of Oyemekun Grammar School emerged the winner of the competition, while Emmanuel Ndidi,also of thesame school came second.
Darasimi Anjorin of Christ the Redeemed Secondary School, Oda Road (CRISSA) and Oluwaseun Kolawole of African Comprehensive High School both emerged joint third.
In the Girls category, Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School won all the prizes category.
Semilore Olatubosun of Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School won the event, while Zainab Osokoya and Pamilerin Adeleye of thesame school emerged second and third respectively. Ifeoluwa Afolabi of African Church Comprehensive High School,Alagbaka emerged fourth.
It would be recalled that a total of Eight schools and six clubs participated in the tournament, and with the conclusion of schools event, the club’s started immediately.
The gala night on Saturday 13th at the club ground will serve as grand finale where prizes will be presented to the winners of the competition.
The invited secondary schools were; Oyemekun Grammar School, Aquinas College, African Comprehensive Grammar School Alagbaka, Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, St Louis Girls Grammar School, Ijapo High School, Christ the Redeemed College and Press International School.
The invited Clubs are; Recreation Club Akure, Recreation Club Owo, Senior Staff Club Akure, In land club Ado Ekiti and Recreation club, Ibadan.
