The chief executive officer of Tubaba Football Scouting Academy Network Nigeria, Ayokunle Oluwatope has congratulated Sunshine Queens FC players, coaching crew for their outstanding performance at the just concluded Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) played in Ogun State.
Oluwatope in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Akure the state capital commended the coaching crew of the team for paraded young players scouted from grassroots in the competition.
He said Sunshine Queens played five matches won four, lost one to the home team, which placed the Akure based ladies on same 12 points with the Remo based ladies.
The grassroots football developer, while thanking the management of the team led by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Mr Bamidele Ologunloluwa for his support and motivation for the rejuvenated Sunshine Queens urged him to ensure their is continuety in both the players and the coaching crew.
He added that the current Sunshine Queens if maintained will rule the women football in the country.
According to him, “I’m always at the training ground in. Akure monitoring them and I followed the team to FC Ebedei Stadium, Sagamu to watch one or two of their matches in the championship. Without mincing words the team play to the admiration of the spectators at the venue.”
“The team is a future of Nigeria Football, and that is why Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) and the ministry of Youth and Sports should develop interest in the current squad”.
“If the team is well managed, Ondo State will make a lot of revenue from the young players”.
As a scouting expert, I will advice the management of the team to guide against poaching of the players.
