Cross Creek Golf club, Ilado in Akure has organised a captain’s inaugural Golf tournament slated for the 17th of May
The captain’s inaugural Golf tournament which is at the instance of the new captain, Isaac Shedowo, will also feature the commissioning of a new club house for members at the Golf course.
The founder of Cross Creek Golf club, Shola Abidakun, in an invitation noted that the arrival and cocktail of members and guests will hold on May 17, 2024 at Emperor Hotel, Alagbaka in Akure by 6pm.
On Saturday 18th of May, there will be inauguration of the club house by 9am, while the Golf tournament will start by 7am with the “Tee off” handled by Hon. Justice Lambo Akanbi (RTD).
The founder of the Golf club, Shola Abidakun solicits the financial support and participation of all members for the event.
He said that the event was part of the club’s plan to put the state on the world map through Golf.
