The 12th edition of the annual Youth Alive basketball championship holds across Lagos metropolis with Rowe Park Sports Centre, Alagomeji, Yaba as main centre of attraction.
This year edition is unique according to event coordinator and Chief Operating Officer of DeepBond Global, Gbade Olatona who explain that selected secondary schools and other facilities in the Lagos metropolis will host to some games of one of the top most grassroots basketball championship in Nigeria.
Olatona further explained that the 2020 edition is unique as it created room for some Elite teams to further get their players ready for major national competition.
The 2020 edition which is the 12th edition will feature teams in the U13 boys and girls, School category and the Elite.
Two games are on the bill on Wednesday March 4th in the School category as New Era Girls confront Top field Girls while University of Lagos International School do battle against Top field boys at the UNILAG International School basketball court in Akoka, Yaba, Lagos.
