Dayo Ojo’s release,a big relief -Adedipe

Former Sunshine stars player Kehinde Adedipe has expressed joy over the release of his former teammate and friend Dayo Ojo who was released by his abductors after four years in captive.

Speaking with Bkitzik sports reporter,Kehinde Adedipe said the release gladdens his heart and he has been in touch with the player’s family and contacting those in authority for the quick release of the national players.

Adedipe a Rangers football club of Enugu player confirm that Dayo Ojo is in good condition.

Also police public relation officer ASP TEE-LEO IKORO said the Ondo state police command will do everything possible to protect the released players.

Reacting on behalf of the Ondo state football agency ODSFA the media officer sunshine stars fc Chris Okunuwa said the release of Dayo Ojo and Benjamin Iluyomade was a thing of joy and the team has warn that the players should do away with unnecessary trip.

The footballers were kidnapped along the ever busy Benin-Owo expressway after the suspension of he Nigeria professional football league NPFL due to the global pandemic COVID-19.
