It was another great moment as people united by sports (PUBS), a front line assembly of youths who have passion in sports development in Ondo state unveil a prominent woman politiciann, Mrs Bunmi Ademosu as a member of the board of trustee.
Before now, the first lady of Ondo state, Mrs Betty Anyawu Akeredolu was the only female member of the board of trustees of the association but now another new prominent figure in the state has been added to stir the affairs of the association.
Speaking at the unveiling, president of PUBS and the team manager of Sunshine Queens, Mr Seun Betiku said Mrs Ademosu track records,motherly advice,generosity and progressive ability qualified her for the prestigious position.
Reacting,Mrs Ademosu appreciated the gesture and promised to always render her support for the advancement of sports and youth development in the state.
Ahead of the Ondo state gubernatorial election the new matron charged PUBS to be of good conduct and give absolute support to governor Akeredolu whole she said has a lot of good plans for the youths and sports development in the state.
Souvenirs of PUBS were presented to the new matron at the end of the meeting.
Prominent personalities among the board of trustees of PUBS includes Mr Gbenga Elegbeleye, a former director general of national sports commission, First lady Ondo state, Mrs Betty Anyawu Akeredolu,Chairman Ondo state football agency ODSFA, Alhaji Tajudeen Akinyemi,Mr Sunday Olajide,a member of the Ondo state house of assembly.
