Ondo state commissioner for Natural resources Mr Temitayo Oluwatayo says Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has done much with mind blowing intention to develop sports in the state.
Mr Oluwatayo stated this when he received the executive members of People’s united by sports PUBS Ondo state in Akure.
The former Akure south local government chairman said the state governor being a sports person has a lot to offer to sports development and has never abandoned the welfare of the people especially workers at the sports council.
He however lamented the level of support by some staffs of the Ondo state sports council describing the politicking and managerial skills by the people as unpleasant.
Responding,president people’s united by sports Mr Seun Betiku said the group which has been in existence since 2016 is aimed at bringing together vibrant,brilliant youths from the sports sector in Ondo state to brainstorm on the progress of spots in the state.
Mr Betiku said having realized the intention of the state governor in the sports sector and his achievement,the group has decided to drum support for governor Akeredolu’s re-election.
PUBS,a registered group have been fully involved in the re-election process of the governor and boost of members in all the eighteen local government of Ondo state with representatives in all sports an other relevant stakeholders in the state.
