Simba SC of Tanzania midfielder, Augustine Okejepha, has expressed his determination to help his team finish the season on a high note.
In an exclusive interview, Okejepha revealed his desire to see Simba SC finish the season strongly, citing the team’s hard work and dedication as key factors in their success.
Okejepha, who joined Simba SC from Rivers United last season, has been instrumental in the team’s success this season. He has been a key player in the team’s midfield, providing creativity, vision, and goals.
“We’ve worked so hard as a team to get to where we are today,” Okejepha said. “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved, but I know we can do even better.”
Okejepha has set his sights on helping Simba SC achieve two major targets: winning the Tanzania Premier League title and the CAF Confederation Cup.
“I have a lot of targets coming here to horn my skills and finish the season as Tanzania Premier League champions, and not only that but also win the CAF Confederation Cup,” he stated.
Simba are placed second in the log with 54 points from 21 games played in the Tanzania Premier League and will face Al Masry of Egypt in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter final in April.
