Defending champion of the Zenith Bank Women Basketball League Air Warriors basketball club of Abuja began the defense of it’s title today as the Final 4 of the 2023 edition of the Zenith Bank Women Basketball League tips-off at the Indoor Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The Coach Samson Sotiminu tutored side will file out against MFM of Lagos at 5:00pm local time.
Club Chairman Alhaji Solademi Abdulmajid says the club is in Lagos to fulfill two missions, to pick a continental ticket and also do everything possible to retain the league title it won in 2019.
“It’s a huge task that before us but our team is well motivated to go all out and achieve our goal which are continental ticket and the defense of our title, says the club chairman.
Other game of the opening day of the final 4 will see Customs taking on Bayelsa at 3pm.
