Constant repair of sports facility in the country putting them in good shape will always inspire coaches, athletes and attract talents to embrace sporting activities of their choice.
A basketball player Dapo Adesunloro gave the advise during a 3×3 basketball championship organized for interested dunk and slam lovers at the Akure sports complex.
Adesunloro while narrating his passion for sports and human development said his love for the game geared him towards staging the championship to keep basketball players fit and busy even as they await other national competitions.
The Lagos based basketball players charged the Ondo state government and the federal government not to ignore the development of youths in sports for education alone but employ more coaches,trainers to also train youths interested in sports for overall development.
He further pleaded for a quick renovation of the Ondo state basketball court to inspire trainers and discovered talents.
While recounting his early days of training under the tutelage of Ondo state basketball coaches Sola Aluko and Fisayo Bello,Dapo Adesunloro noted that with more encouragement,proper usage of allocated funds for sports in the state and nation coaches possess the skills and passion to groom athletes to the peak.
The 3×3 basketball game was climaxed with gift items for deserving players,cash rewards,entertainment and career coaching.
