Simba SC of Tanzania midfielder, Augustine Okejepha says his side are geared up for the highly anticipated clash against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Tunis will host the the clash on Sunday evening.
The Reds of Msimbazi secured a 2-1 win in the reverse fixture on matchday 3 at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium on 15th December, 2024.
Simba are placed third in Group A after 3 rouuds of games with 6 ponits while Sfaxien are rooted to the bottom of the table with zero points.
“We are fully prepared and ready for the game,” Okejepha said in a pre-match interview. “The team is looking sharp and focused, we’ve been working hard in training, and we’re looking forward to the game.
“We are not going to underestimate Sfaxien, despite their position in the table. We will give it our all and make sure we come out top.
“Playing in Tunis will be a challenge, we know it won’t be easy, but we’ve prepared well and confident in our abilities.
”CS Sfaxien may have experience, but we have the hunger and determination to succeed. We’re going to use that to our advantage and give it everything we’ve got, Okejepha stated.”
