NPFL 2023: Ondo Sports Commissioner Boost Sunshine Stars’ Morale Ahead Of Rivers United Clash

Ondo State Commissioner for youth and sports development, Mr Bamidele Ologunloluwa says all support needed for Sunshine stars to pick one of the tickets for the super six in the Nigeria professional football league will be made available.

The commissioner gave the assurance while interacting with the players and officials of the Ondo state owned team ahead of the much anticipated rescheduled match against Rivers United of Port Harcourt.

Mr Ologunloluwa who applauded the players for their professional display and sacrifices, especially for the 2-0 away win against Niger Tornadoes of Minna, assured maximum support for the team.

The commissioner who was elated by the sportsmanship performance of the players on and off the pitch, said the state government and fans at home were delighted with their performance in the league and also in the ongoing Federation cup.

Responding on behalf of the team, Sunshine Stars Captain, Sunday Abe appreciated the Ondo state government and the effort of the sports commissioner for his support at all time.

A win for Sunshine starts against Rivers United will boost the Owena whales chances of finishing strong in group B of the abridged Nigeria professional football league.

Sunshine stars last home game will be against relegated Dakkada FC at the Akure sports complex.
