A former chairman of the All progressives Congress A.P.C in Ondo state, Mr Isaacs Kekemeke says he will invest in sports infrastuctures and rebranding of talented sports men and women,showcasing them to the world if elected as the governor of Ondo state in the forth coming governorship election.
Mr Kekemeke gave this assurance in an interface with the Online media practitioners at his campaign office in Alagbaka Akure.
The former commissioner for information while describing Ondo state as a destination loaded with human and natural talents said special consideration will be channeled towards the discovery of youths with outstanding skills in all economical viable sector and make them good ambassador of the state.
While highlighting some of his plans to the Online media practitioners ,Mr Kekemeke said strategies are on ground to discover and train youths who are unique and gifted in academics,entertainment and particularly in sporting activities related to their terrain and divert such talents to a viable one.
The former commissioner noted that experts will be equipped and deployed to the southern part of the state or the riverine areas to train and discover swimmers that will make fortune through their skills and represent the state and the country in national and international competitions.
He further stated that youths that are gifted in mountain climbing from Idanre will also be trained while the hill will wear a new modern look with a magnificent hotel,event centre, and a cable car to attract tourist in and outside the country.
As a former commissioner for works and urban development Mr Kekemeke assured the repair of abandoned sports structures in the state to have a modern look and well equipped to help talents to train and exhibit their God giving potentials.
