At the end of the year wrestling championship held in Montady, South France on Saturday 15th December 2024, Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) at the end of a timely seminar and championship signed Partnership deal with the Heros Pro Wrestling (HPW) to run joint pro wrestling championship in the future.
Heros Pro Wrestling collaborated with the Pro Wrestling Africa to run the timely championship where Heddi Karaoui became the AIWF Africa heavyweight champion and titleholder.
Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), is the apex body of the professional wrestling sport in Africa and as co sponsorers met with and signed a contract of mutual understanding and working collaboration with the management of the Heroes Pro Wrestling as Laurent Trivaldo the president at the HPW based in South France was full of appreciation to the management of PWA for coming all the way from Africa to attend and also partner with the HPW to host the timely championship which is a beginning of better things to come for the two organisations.
Pro Wrestling Africa as an organization was inaugurated in Yaoundé, Cameroon on February 4, 2015 and the continental body has really impacted the grunt and groan game in Africa as a force to be reckoned with establishing the sport in Benin Republic, Togo, Botswana, Ghana and other Africannations.
The Secretary General of the Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) Olusesan Olukoya who also doubled as the President of the African arm of the USA based Allied Independent Wrestling Federations (AIWF Africa) who met with and signed agreement documents on behalf of PWA was so excited about this recent development and he said: “We at the Pro Wrestling Africa that currently runs trainings and championships in 22 African nations have been looking for opportunities to showcase our talents to the world and this timely privilege is of paramount importance to us’’.
