Seven Aside Championship: Iwuanyanwu, Abiola Babes Lock Horns In Final

All is now set for the final of the Ages Football Club “Seven Aside Competition” tie between Iwuanyanwu Nationale and Abiola Babes.
The final of the competition would be decided at the Ijapo/ Housing field, Akure.
Iwuanyanwu Nationale had defeated Julius Berger 1-0, piped Leventist 2-1 before played a goalless draw with the Abiola Babes to qualify for the final with 7points.
All their three goals were scored by Blessing Adeyemi.
While Abiola Babes qualified without scoring a goal in the competition, they played goalless draw in their three matches enroute final.
Meanwhile Leventist and Julius Berger were tied on same 2 points, having drew two and lost one match each.
Leventist were able to edge Julius Berger with superior goal.
The captain of the Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Nosa Enabulele attributed his team feat to team work, saying the understanding within the team is their strength.
“We are not going to underrate our opponent in the final, final is always a different game in every competition, we will increase the tempo in the final,” he said.
While his Abiola Babes counterpart, Femi Filegbe said their target was to qualify for the final, which they have achieved.
“We are go into the final for a shocker, we are going to shock the league leader in the final, we didn’t score any goal at the group stage and we didn’t concede any.
Tactically we conserve our strength for the final, there will be rain of goals on the final match, he added.
